Nargis Fakhri, Ranbir Are No More A Couple

It seems post “Rockstar”, Pakistani-American model Nargis Fakhri and Ranbir Kapoor are no more interested in being perceived as a couple.

On Wednesday night at a party at the Grand Hyatt thrown by a leading celebrity-management company KWAN, Nargis chose to be accompanied by a female friend, while Ranbir came with his father Rishi Kapoor.

Throughout the evening Ranbir and Nargis were in separate sections of the party.

“Nargis and Ranbir hardly spoke to one another. This was an important evening for Nargis, as it was her first appearance independent of the ‘Rockstar’ events. And she made it clear that she was there at the party to meet the who’s who of the entertainment industry, something that she had not been allowed to do during the shooting and publicity of ‘Rockstar’,” said a source from the party. The Dev D and Udaan gang is back with a bang. India’s first ‘director’s production house’ – Phantom – helmed by Vikas Bahl, Anurag Kashyap and Vikramaditya Motwane has announced its first venture, Lootera.

Kareena Kapoor had landed a dream role, though it’s not with her anymore, thanks to cousin Ranbir Kapoor. The actress had apparently been cast to play Madhubala in the Kishore Kumar biopic. But now since Ranbir is playing the singer-actor-filmmaker, the two cannot be paired romantically. Now, the producers, UTV, and the director, Anurag Basu have begun to brainstorm over who to cast opposite RK.

According to a source in the production house, UTV had considered Kareena when Shoojit Sircar was expected to direct the movie. The company, that shares a great rapport with Aamir Khan who played the lead in their blockbuster, Rang De Basanti, had initiated talks with Khan on the biopic about two years ago. Read more…

We’ve heard, Youngistaan’s heartthrob, Ranbir Kapoor will be sporting a cool new look for ‘The Game’, an upcoming entertaining and engaging TV concept from Pepsi. Sources reveal that the concept required him to look active and uber cool unlike a serious action hero.

Ranbir’s stylist revealed that Ranbir will be seen sporting a dragon tattoo on his left arm and the same motif appears on his costume and neck-piece. His look is funky with a two-day stubble and a mop of hair falling on his forehead, representing his carefree and confident attitude.
