The actor, better known for his versatile roles and of course on screen kissing streak is now a proud dad. Emraan’s wife Parveen Hashmi delivered a baby boy at a Private Hospital in Mumbai. Both mother and son are in good health. Emraan is extremely happy with the beginning of a new inning in his life and accepts fatherhood as boon. Mr. & Mrs. Hashmi have happily named their son as Ayaan.

“I’m feeling pretty spaced and it’ll take a while to come to terms with the fact that I have actually turned dad. I am on very happy and so is my wife” Is what Emraan had to say on the day which he termed as one of the finest days of his life.

Tum Mile that employs the backdrop of the July 26 catastrophe when Mumbai was in deep waters floats on a shallow storyline. However the decent direction by the captain of the ship (Kunal Deshmukh) makes it sail through.

Like in most Bhatt films, the protagonist is into fine arts which as per the makers is restricted to music or painting. Emraan Hashmi as Akshay chooses the latter and replicates his painting passion post Raaz – The Mystery Continues. Sanjana (Soha Ali Khan) comes from an affluent family whose father expectedly has no time for her. Thankfully it’s not the typical rich-girl poor-boy love story.

By the end of the second song when the girl declares the done-to-death dialogue, “Mujhe yaad nahi main aakhri baar itna kab hasi thi”, you know cupid has struck. They get into a live-in relationship until personal problems and egos separate them. But where’s the deluge drama, you ask? Well, the downpour surfaces only in the final few reels which reunites the estranged couple. Read more….

Tum Mile is perhaps one of the most under-hyped films of the year. It is not promoted in a big manner but people in the film industry are waiting with bated-breath, as Mahesh Bhatt has the calibre to turn things his way. The unlikely pairing of Emraan Hashmi and Soha Ali Khan also has created curiosity amongst the people.

The film is based on the infamous July 2005 Mumbai floods. It tells about two people meeting each other after a long hiatus, and that too amidst chaos and tragedy. They drop their guards and emotions during the ordeal. They make some important revelations on the fateful night.

One of the highlights of the film is the use of 26 July 2005 flood as its backdrop. The makers of the film dared to take on the real life disaster. Emraan even posted on Twitter that Tum Mile might have brought rains to Mumbai a couple of days ago.
