It is not a new thing in Bollywood industry for heroines to appear in south screen but for Vidya Balan it is her first venture in her film career after her appealing performance in ‘Ishqiya.’
She will be appearing in a Malayalam film ‘Mathilukalkkapuram’, opposite noted actor of Kollywood industry Mammootty under whose production house the film will be made.
The story of ‘Mathilukalkkappuram’ is penned by Basheer and directed by Prasad, which is to start off from where Adoor finished. It is a continuation of Vaikom Muhammad Basheer’s famous novel from which renowned director Adoor Gopalakrishnan made ‘Mathilukal ‘(1989).
