The film as the title suggests, is a full on take of the romantic genre, one with the basic idea to prove that Pyaar’ or love can strike anyone irrespective of caste, creed or looks. If cupid strikes does he see whether the person concerned is a good looker or not? Perhaps not!
That’s what is the highlight of the film is where the college life has been shown in the first half with Uday Chopra as the awkward looking geek who otherwise is a very sharp and intelligent guy, but he belongs to a group where girls of a high attitude would not even dream of looking by mistake. This character Abhay dresses in the shabbiest of clothes and has glasses that make him look like a complete loser.
So, he falls in love with Alisha played by Priyanka Chopra who is a complete ravishing beauty wit brains and makes him shy away from the forefront as he thinks she was too unattainable for him.Priyanka who is this hot and happening chick on campus doesn’t even notice the geek who loves her so dearly. She is the most unattainable girl on campus whose fashion statement makes quite an impression.
Cut to the second half and Alisha is already married and divorced after a period of seven years and she has a small daughter played by Advika Yadav and is a brat in need of some sound advice.
