Tum Mile is perhaps one of the most under-hyped films of the year. It is not promoted in a big manner but people in the film industry are waiting with bated-breath, as Mahesh Bhatt has the calibre to turn things his way. The unlikely pairing of Emraan Hashmi and Soha Ali Khan also has created curiosity amongst the people.
The film is based on the infamous July 2005 Mumbai floods. It tells about two people meeting each other after a long hiatus, and that too amidst chaos and tragedy. They drop their guards and emotions during the ordeal. They make some important revelations on the fateful night.
One of the highlights of the film is the use of 26 July 2005 flood as its backdrop. The makers of the film dared to take on the real life disaster. Emraan even posted on Twitter that Tum Mile might have brought rains to Mumbai a couple of days ago.
