Neeraj Pandey needs a cast of 26 actors and he finalized Abhishek Bachchan for the lead role of conman Mohan Singh. This is because the character hails from UP, and so does Abhishek Bachchan. The rural look suits the rugged AB. Also, the character is in his mid-30s, and AB falls in the same age bracket. Like the other Rohan Sippy film he is doing, this film will also require plenty of research and character study, as Neeraj wants Abhishek to get into the skin of the character.
