Bollywood superstar Amitabh Bachchan has a new role. He is the genie of Aladin. Bachchan is playing the vanishing act in Sujoy Ghosh’s next film Aladin. He spoke to CNN-IBN Entertainment Editor Rajeev Masand.
Rajeev Masand: Mr Bachchan can you describe your first reaction when the director of Aladin Sujoy Ghosh approached you with the idea that you have to do this film and be part of this film.
Amitabh Bachchan: I shall have to go a little further back. Sujoy has been chasing me with several reasons to do film with him and he narrated one or two ideas. One particular idea he was very persistent with. It was not Aladin, it was something else. Then he eventually came with the story ofAladin and said ‘I want to you to do this’.
