Police claimed to have solved a case of theft that took place at actor Kareena Kapoor’s residence with the arrest of her three domestic helps.
A pearl set and a ring worth Rs 41,000 and Rs 1.53 lakh in cash were recovered from them, police said on Saturday.
The incident occurred on October 8 at Kapoor’s Rose Queen residence on 14th road in suburban Khar, police said adding that the trio had stolen cash and other belongings valued at Rs 2.50 lakh from the actor’s house.
The three accused identified as Pawansingh Chouhan (24), Anita Osami (35) and Tina Yadav (26) were arrested on October 15 after they admitted to have committed the crime on being interrogated, Additional Police Commissioner Amitabh Gupta said. Read more…
