Actor Mugdha Godse does everything with a strong conviction. She was in town for a promotional tour. Excerpts from the interview.
Traditional upbringing
Basically from Pune, Mugdha looks like the stereotypical model — tall and beautiful. After winning a beauty pageant and doing a couple of ad films with SRK, she knew nothing about acting when she debuted for Bhandarkar’s Fashion. “My foray into films was basically a move to earn a lot of money.” One thing led to another and now the actor prefers to work in films that will prove her potential.
On the ‘Sex symbol’ label
“I take it as a compliment but these are tags given by the audience. Wearing minimal clothes or stripping is generally associated with the ‘sex symbol’ tag.
